My first Koval
The craftsmanship behind these handmade sketchbooks is truly a labor of love.
I discovered KOVAL through a YouTube recommendation and decided to order
one to see for myself. As someone who usually paints on Fabriano or Arches
in blocks and rolls, I’m used to high-quality paper—but having it bound like this is
a game-changer.
The packaging was impeccable, arriving safely and beautifully presented.
What really stands out is the attention to detail: the binding allows the pages
to lay perfectly flat, and that extra loose sheet they include to take away
'first-page anxiety' is such a thoughtful touch. I’m almost at a loss for words to
describe the quality. Once you’ve held a Koval sketchbook, you won’t want to
go back to anything else!
